Human microbiome exploration has significant biological and medical potential. Metagenomic data is large and hard to analyze. There are attempts of applying machine learning methods to unravel hidden patterns of various medical conditions in human microbiome. We ran experiments to solve classification task of diagnosing the patient by his gut microbiota and succeed in predicting the diagnose for some of our datasets. We analyzed those datasets and drew conclusions about requirements for building a successful classifier.
