Application of Computer Simulation Methods in Ensuring Reliability of the laser Gyrocompass

Student: Rayter Mikhail

Supervisor: Yury Nikolaevich Kofanov

Faculty: HSE Tikhonov Moscow Institute of Electronics and Mathematics (MIEM HSE)

Educational Programme: Applied Mathematics (Bachelor)

Year of Graduation: 2018

The main purpose of this study is to demonstrate the advantages of computer simulation in calculating the reliability of laser gyroscopes, the designs of which are specified in the JSC "SRI" Polyus ". Maintenance of the given reliability is carried out due to an increase in the accuracy of information about the temperatures of electronic components, the values of which are obtained as a result of modeling of thermal processes on a computer using the software subsystem ASONIKA-T. It is important to note that the values of the temperatures of electronic components in laser gyroscopes during computer simulation are determined at the early stages of their development after obtaining drawings of printed units and supporting structures of gyroscopes in general. The obtained temperature values are integrated into the correction factors when calculating the operating values of the failure rates. These same temperatures determine the thermal loads of electronic components, which allows you to determine the most intense places. This is used when changing the designs of laser gyroscopes in order to organize additional heatsinks. All the results obtained during the work are accepted for application in the development of the MT-404 gyroscope at JSC Polyus Research Institute.
