At the present stage of evolution of the Russian economy and the state as a whole, the issue of controlling the distribution of state financial resources was always overriding, since this directly affects both the effectiveness of the entire system of public administration and the level of society welfare. An effective legal control in this sphere is a generally valid legal problem, which determines the importance of this work. This research is based on an attempt to formulate theoretical foundations for improving the effectiveness of state financial control and examines the problems and prospects for its development.
