2018
This work is devoted to the problem of inequality in the educational environment: the paper discuses bases of intraschool and interschool social segregation, as well as their relation with the socio-psychological characteristics of students and characteristics of the school. The bases of intraschool segregation and the relationship between the characteristics of students and schools with the levels of segregation are explored with the example of Kaluga region schools. The main attention is paid to such bases of social segregation as ethnicity and socio-economic status of the student's family. Measurement of levels of interschool and intraschool segregation on various bases were made using the Dissimilarity Index. Measures of segregation in schools, cities (groups of settlements) were made by calculating the levels of segregation on various bases, with further visualization of values on geographical maps.

The paper proposes to discuss one of the key bases of intraschool and interschool social segregation (ethnicity, SES family: "the presence of the mother of higher education", "social and professional status (SPS) of the family"). The relation of objectives of schools and attitudes of students with the levels of intraschool segregation on various bases were estimated. The main attention is paid to the differences in the values of segregation between distinct types of locations, rather than the value of the segregation indexes themselves.

Key words: intraschool segregation, interschool segregation, educational segregation
