Roles of Bullying Participants in Vocational Schools

This final qualification work has the following structure: introduction, theoretical part of the work, description of materials and methods, results and conclusions. The paper discusses the problems of bullying and victimization, namely, the roles and chosen models of participants' behavior in these processes. The object of the study were students of educational institutions of secondary vocational education, and the subject - the behavior strategies of students performing various roles in bullying practices. Qualitative data (semi-structured interviews) were used for the study and an open-coding method was used. The work describes the behavioral strategies obtained: "defense-attack", protective, adaptive, justifiable and ignored. In addition, other categories associated with behavioral patterns, such as the climate of the school, "bullets" of bullying, the friendship of the training group and the participation of teachers, were also received and analyzed during the course of the work. The relationship between all the highlighted categories, as well as gender differences, manifested between them are described in the results and conclusion of this work.
