The growth of migration flows is observed all over the world becoming one of the main factors of changes in the political life of the country. The influx of refugees to Europe together with Muslim migrants increases the anxiety of Europeans because of the cultural and religious differences of the immigrants. The most important perspective of the problem - how the receiving party not only natives but also migrants reacts to the influx of other migrants. This paper based on «European Social Study», considers attitudes of the natives and migrants themselves to migration and ethnic discrimination in 2 countries: Russia and Germany in 2012 and 2016 years.
