Russian Box Office Success Film Assessment App Development

The paper is focused on designing an econometric model for Russian box-office success assessment for films and developing an app for this model. A literature review was conducted to analyse the existing approaches, select factors that are potentially affecting Russian box-office. For modeling panel data for 11 years was gathered, selecting top 100 films with successful box-office for each year. Random effects model showed itself best and became the base for the application for box-office success assessment for films in Russia.
