In recent years, psychoanalysts are increasingly faced with cases where the determination of the structure of the patient causes difficulties. The presence of psychosis, as well as neurosis, must be proved, for this there should be a certain symptomatology. The absence of structured delusions and hallucinations complicates the diagnosis, then it goes beyond the primary meetings, and sometimes can be delayed for a long time. The clinician has to be cautious in his work, as the analysis for neurotic and psychotic patients differs significantly; this caution turns into a process inhibition. Even frequent supervisions can't help in clarifying the essence of the problem. Thus, the binary clinic «neurosis/psychosis» is insufficient in modern realities. To eliminate this insufficiency, Jacques-Alain Miller introduces the concept of ordinary psychosis. This term describes a clinic based on barely noticeable signs of forclusion of the Name-of-the-Father, as well as social exclusion and substitution. The master's thesis consists of an introduction, two chapters, six paragraphs, a conclusion and a bibliographic list (including 77 sources).
