Analysis of the Influence of IT on the Communication of the Museum

The author considered the problem of non-systemic and fragmentary approach in the construction of digital communication activities of the museum. Author analyzed and formulated the basic methods of building digital communication technologies (case studies of the Tate Modern, the Metropolitan Museum, the British Museum and the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts). The efficiency of using digital technologies in the communication activities of the museum has been revealed and justified. The results complement the theoretical concepts of N. Simon, R. Perry, L. Nol and other researchers of information technology in the museum field, and scientific ideas on the role of digital technologies in the communication activities of the museum are expanding.
