Improving the Efficiency of the Trade Enterprise Supply Chain

Nowadays, stability in goods supply, a high level of suppliers’ reliability and effective inventory management give trade enterprises an opportunity to better meet the incoming demand and, therefore, increase their turnover and get higher profits. The purpose of the final qualifying work is to develop recommendations for improvement of the supply system efficiency of the trade enterprise LLC "Priboy". The following tasks were performed in the paper: - analysis of the concept and main components of supply logistics; - review of the existing models and methods applied to supply logistics; - review of the classification of intermediaries and identification of the role of suppliers in the supply system of trade enterprises; - identification of the main factors affecting the efficiency of the supply system of trade enterprises; - development of the algorithm for optimization of logistics processes connected to the supply of trade enterprises; - analysis of the existing model of the supply system organization in the trade enterprise LLC "Priboy"; - detection of the ways of optimization for supply logistics of the considered enterprise and offer of recommendations for optimization based on the conducted research. The following results were obtained: there was developed a three-level algorithm for optimization of the supply system of a trade enterprise, which includes inspecting the compliance of the existing supply system with the basic principles of efficiency, analysis of the suppliers structure and analysis of the product range structure.
