In this paper, based on a comparative analysis, conclusions were drawn about the business models of EdTech companies operating in the Russian market of school and extra-curricular school education. The relevance of the topic is related to the fact that the issue of qualitative improvements in education is not a matter of new pedagogical approaches or a better understanding of cognitive processes, but a matter of finding an efficient business model. For a comparative analysis, the business models of four market players were described in detail: Foxford, Yandex. Prosveshcheniye, Codwards, Znanika. To describe business models, Alexander Osterwalder's model was used. To collect data, the desk research method was used and interviews were conducted with the employees of selected companies.
