The Impact of New Edutainment Projects on City Image Transformation

The topic of this thesis is "The impact of new edutainment projects on city image”. Goal: to examine the existing educational and entertaining projects in Moscow and St. Petersburg and their role in city image transformation in its perception by townspeople and visitors. The object: city image The subject: city image transformation The issue: how do the new educational and entertainment projects affect on the transformation of the city image and shape the perception of the city by its residents and visitors tourists? Due to this the following targets were set: 1) To study culturological approaches to the study of the concept of "emotional consumption" 2) Identify the specificity of the "image of the city". 3) Analyze educational and entertainment projects in Moscow and St. Petersburg For my research, I studied the following educational and entertaining projects in Moscow and St. Petersburg: "Москва глазами инженера", "Нам светло", "Велоночь", "Arts fot the city". A feature of the new educational and entertainment projects in Moscow and St. Petersburg today is that they: a) They speak the same language as those who come to the activities of the project; b) Are able to satisfy the intellectual and aesthetic needs of citizens; c) The nature of the content of these events also affects the emotional needs of people, thus more easily than academic educational projects, finding feedback and feedback; d) All my projects are united by one idea: the formation of a more conscious and careful attitude to the city through education.
