Factors Affecting the Lifetime of NRU HSE Student Organizations

This bachelor`s thesis is devoted to the problem of organizing activities of NRU HSE student organizations. The author poses a question about what factors affect NRU HSE student organizations lifetime. The main features of volunteering as a social phenomenon and the documents regulating extra-curricular activities in NRU HSE were analyzed. A concept of an organization`s lifecycle, different types of organizational structures and relations, ways of evaluating the job done by a non-profit organization were examined. A study among some leaders of NRU HSE student organizations was constructed and carried out. A correlation between existence of horizontal relations in a volunteer organization and its lifetime was found. The features of a formalization process in student organizations were identified. Based on the carried-out research some practical recommendations for the university about working with student organizations had been created and some concepts of further possible studies have been suggested.
