Psychodynamic and Existentional Foundation of Suicidal Intention among University Students

Currently, many people are killing themselves, not knowing that they could find another way out of their situation, but no one gave them an answer, nobody taught them to look for solutions from difficult situations. Despite the large number of studies aimed at studying suicide, the diversity of aspects and approaches in determining the nature of suicide, in identifying the conditions for its occurrence, a significant range of issues remains insufficiently developed. The novelty of this work is the development of a questionnaire of the existential foundations for suicidal intentions. Psychodynamic foundations of suicidal intentions are demonstrativeness, affectivity, uniqueness, inconsistency, social pessimism, scrapping of cultural barriers, maximalism and a temporary perspective. The existential foundations of suicidal intentions are the right to be able to withstand, the presence of supports, the quality of life, values, closeness, self-worth, conscience, fair attitude, meaning, field of activity, value in the future. Research hypothesis: there is a reliable way to identify the existential bases of suicidal intentions among university students. Key words: existential basis, existential analysis of A.
