Project Management in Education

Project management in education allows increasing the accuracy of work planning, reducing risks and deviations of actual indexes from planned ones, also increasing the level of process control. The study of the best practices in project management creates a methodological basis for more effective implementation of various educational projects. Modern methodologies and tools for project management need transmitting into projects of all spheres of society, adjusting to particular qualities of everyone. As competent personnel are assigned the main role in the educational project, it is also important to take into account the psycho-physiological characteristics of a person, to promote ideas of uninterrupted training for the continuous development of employees and to carry out qualitative selection of them. In this study, through the comprehensive analysis of the real case, there will be the assessment of the role of project management in a creation of an educational course. Education and projects in the educational sphere were chosen as the analyzed sphere, namely, how project management was applied in the educational student organization "Guideline". The main problem is the lack of information concerning the introduction of project management methodologies while implementing educational projects. Based on the results of the study, the advantages of managing projects in the field of education over a linearly-functional form of management were revealed. Comparative analysis was carried out among projects from the advertising, financial and educational spheres with the purpose of revealing the characteristic features of project management in education.As a result of the study, conclusions were made about the specifics of educational project management and on the superstructure that is necessary to improve the efficiency of project implementation.
