Facilitation of Innovativeness by Applying IT Tools and Increasing Employee Engagement

Abstract The present research introduces a novel approach to improving innovation. The study could demonstrate the link between innovativeness and application IT tools together with increasing employee engagement. Large international companies are forming new trends of innovation in the development strategy of the organization. Thus, the transformation of the economy forms the need to increase innovation in Russian companies. In this case, innovation can be a key part of organization's strategy. The real significance of this topic lies in positive innovation's implications for company's business activities in the future and will affect its competitive advantages. In this regard, it becomes necessary to study different types of programs for the development of corporate innovations. This work will discuss the different ways of successful implementation of innovation in Western companies. The main approach of the research will be the case analysis of the big international companies which have been successful implement different programs of innovation include IT tools and employer engagement. The results are the confirmation of the significant role of innovation in companies. The present research provides a number of insights into the practical aspects of introducing innovation. Based on the results of the case analysis the recommendations for Russian companies were given. Results can be used for higher competitiveness and when the business model of the company begins to lose its relevance.
