Urgency. Research of projective identification is extremely important for psychoanalytic coaching and business consulting. The ability of the coach to feel and explore the unconscious side of his relationship with clients depends on how much the coach is able to understand it. Transference and countertransference, ignored in classical coaching, are one of the main focuses of attention in psychoanalytic coaching. Their awareness, elaboration, use to solve business requests of the client largely depend on the knowledge of the coachee about the mechanisms of projective identification. The object of the work is the process of interaction in a psychotherapeutic or coaching dyad. Subject-projective identification. The task of the work is to conduct a detailed theoretical analysis of the concept of projective identification in modern psychoanalysis, which will make it possible to apply it in practice, including psychoanalytic coaching and business counseling.
