ESP (English) for Bachelors of Linguistics

Current research focuses on teaching ESP for Bachelors of Linguistics. The object of the paper is the professional training of future teachers of Foreign Languages that are completing a Bachelor of Linguistics Programme while the subject of the paper is the specifics and methods of doing so. This paper offers a literature review of works in Linguistics and English for Specific Purposes other relevant sources that analyses the main concepts and categories presented in this work. The research is aimed at discovering the specifics of teaching the professional language to the Bachelors of Linguistics. Presented in the paper is the analysis of typical mistakes that are made by the current teachers of Foreign Languages. The paper offers the main reason for the happening of such mistakes. The work establishes the most efficient ways for correcting existing curriculums with the purpose of adding to them elements of teaching the language of professional communication to the Bachelors of Linguistics. The results of this dissertation could be useful for teaching Bachelor of Linguistics students in order to prepare them for their future position of teaching the language correctly to their students and using their own professional language while communicating in class.
