Mobile Application for Purchases History Collecting and Processing

Most people try to manage their expenses and spend a lot of time on it. The reason is that there are no programs able to automatically classify purchases just by scanning check. The existing solutions are not working properly because try to recognize texts from snapshots. This paper presents a new way of housekeeping and managing finances. The mobile application that will be developed as a result of this project will be able to classify goods into categories just by scanning qr-code on the check. Classification will be achieved through text processing and machine learning algorithms. Later in this article, will be described the proposed methods of machine learning to solve the classification problem. The server and mobile application architecture will also be discussed. Last chapter shows an application interface and design solutions used to build the application. The paper contains 50 pages, 4 chapters, 46 illustrations, 29 bibliography items, 4 appendices Keywords - Android application, classification of text; qr-code.
