Lay Normative Judgments on Rights to Control over the Female Body: Experimental Approach

The present work is devoted to the study of the following subject: legitimation / de-legitimation of the legislative ban on medical abortion in the perception of ordinary people. The theoretical object of research: factors legitimizing / delegitimizing the legislative ban of medical abortion in the perception of ordinary people. The aim of the work is to identify a set of factors that constitute the logic of legitimizing / delegitimizing the legislative ban on medical abortion by ordinary young people. The following tasks are set and solved: 1. To review the main sources of moral arguments and positions that influence the formation of public opinion on the issue and everyday moral judgments about the rights of women to abortion. 2. On the basis of a factorial survey, to assess the main effects and interaction of factors that legitimize / delegitimize the legislative ban on medical abortion in the perception of ordinary people The presented work may be of interest to scientists, teachers, students who are interested in issues related to control over the female body and abortion.
