Online Language as Means of Conceptualization of Reality

This work is devoted to the study of the state of the language in the Internet space and features of the verbal representation of key concepts expressed in the discourse of the Runet. The study of the conceptual picture of the world is based on a linguistic and cultural approach described in the works of A.Vezhbitskaya, Y.S. Stepanov. The concept is understood as an emotionally colored collective idea of ​​the sphere of the spiritual life of native speakers which has various possibilities for verbal representation in texts. The subject of the study is the Internet language. The aim of the work is to study the specifics of the Internet language and the features of the representation of the concepts of modern reality in the new language picture of the world. In order to describe the specifics of new Internet concepts for the Russian language the method of conceptual analysis is used in this paper. We studied lexical, phraseological units, combined with terms that denote technical aspects of Internet reality. The basis for the study was the provision on the closest relationship between cognitive and linguistic categories. The materials are a continuous sample of the body of tweets in Russian language and the corpus collected by Yulia Rubtsova.
