Psychological Factors of Creating a Successful Business

The purpose of this work is to study such factors of business success as: motivational factors of businessmen, their risk appetite, degree of enthusiasm for their own commercial activities and personal characteristics of businessmen. The subject of this study is the motives of entrepreneurial activity, business enthusiasm, as well as personal characteristics of entrepreneurs as founders of small businesses. The subject of the research is the influence of psychological factors on the success of entrepreneurial activity of individual businessmen. Hypothesis: certain business motivations, risk appetites, certain personal characteristics of entrepreneurs (high level of self-control, extraversion, energy) and enthusiasm for business itself are the factors of business success. When writing this graduation qualification work the following research methods were used: analysis of modern scientific literature, testing. Methods of research: rapid survey of the entire sample of entrepreneurs, a methodology for diagnosing the degree of readiness for the risk of the author A.M. Schubert, the technique "Motivational Personality Profile", authors Sheila Richie and Peter Martin; method "The Utrecht scale of enthusiasm for work"; a five-factor personal questionnaire or a "Big Five" test. The practical significance of the research is that we have obtained results on the importance of such psychological factors of the success of entrepreneurial activity as motives, personal characteristics and enthusiasm of professional activity that can be used in the practice of counseling psychologists, when dealing with students, adults, in the process of determining their success in the case of organizing their own business, etc. The aforementioned goal and tasks predetermined the structure of this work, which consists of: introduction, three chapters, conclusion, list of literature and applications.
