Comparative Study of Mobile Based Online Voting Systems

Smartphone applications have got tremendous popularity during the recent decade. Vast number of real-world Smartphone application have been generated by developers which mostly overcome the real-world problems. One of those problems is the existing voting system which is the one of the significant problems exists in a real world to work on. Many people conduct some researches and provide prototypes for the concerned problem. In this paper I am going to discuss, study and compare existing works I came across during my research. Also, I will go through those applications which are already developed for the E-Voting systems and will try to find out what is the main reason that we don’t have a Mobile-based online voting system yet, and if it is introduced why it is not implemented yet globally. Also, I will try to suggest an appropriate solution(prototype) for the concerned problem. Keywords: E-Voting, Mobile Application, Cryptography, Client, Server.
