A formation of a new progressive society using the technological achievements inevitably faces the traditional norms which are still deeply rooted in many countries including Russia. Unfortunately, the reality is that a set of social changes existing now contradicts many stable perceptions on social structure. Under this context, one of the most substantial issues which need to be considered is a gender gap among specialists in technological fields. The aim of the current study is to investigate the features of career pathways of women which have chosen IT specializations.

Student Theses at HSE must be completed in accordance with the University Rules and regulations specified by each educational programme.
