Urban Historical and Cultural Areas Marketing: Izmaylovo as a Tourist Destination

This study aims to develop an approach to the consideration of the historical and cultural territory of the Izmailovo area of ​​Moscow as a tourist destination. The objects of the study are objects of cultural heritage, social and recreational infrastructure located in the Izmailovo area of ​​the city of Moscow, the subject is their unique characteristics and properties that form the capital for promotion and development. The author turned to a block of such disciplines and theoretical areas, such as cultural heritage, historical and cultural territories, the theory of space and cultural landscape of the city, the concept of new cultural geography, humanistic and humanitarian (cultural) geography, tourist destinations and territorial marketing. The methods of interviewing, qualitative and quantitative content analysis, included observations and cartographic method were used in the work. The expected results of the work are practical recommendations for the development of Izmailov as a tourist destination.
