Influence of Urban Morphology Parameters on Crime Patterns

The research is devoted to the formation of an approach to the identification of a meaningful relationship between the urban morphology parameters and crime patterns . In the this work, the main theories of urban morphology and environmental criminology, approaches, tools and methods are considered. Such structural elements of Moscow urban space as streets, streetblocks and buildings are identified and analyzed.The result of the research are the links between the criminality of the territory and its spatial characteristics.
