The poetics of Brodsky's dramaturgy is presented in this work. It becomes obvious from the research that the genre of the play "Marble" is quite complex, because it combines features of philosophical dialogue and dystopia. The tower, where two heroes of the play live, is a symbol of a space coiled into a roll, a concentrated time. Chronotope of the Tower can be formulated as follows. The living space of the character’s chamber is narrowed to the limit, tends to zero, and the time of their existence expands to infinity. The features of the poetics of "Democracy!" are also explored. The Soviet-Afghan war of 1979-1989, the historical and political events that inspired poet to create the play were considered. Brodsky refuses the poetics of dialogue developed by him in "Marble". It was revealed that his refusal to mark replicas makes it possible to express more clearly the facelessness of the characters. The characters of Brodsky's play personify the anonymous face of the government. The last part of the work describes the stage embodiment of the play "Democracy!".
