The title of this research is «Life, Death, and Immortality in Shakespeare's Tragedy "Hamlet" and Their Realization in Russian Translations»; 64 pages; Keywords: motive, Shakespeare, translations, comparative studies; The purpose of this research is a comparative analysis of the original of the tragedy and its translations; The purpose of the study is to determine the similarities and differences in the understanding of the motives "life", "death" and "immortality" by W. Shakespeare and the translators of the Hamlet tragedy; In connection with the intended purpose of the following tasks: 1) To study and analyze the main theses of the lexical-semantic field theory; 2) To make a semantic research, during which to isolate the semantic core and center of the word forms "life", "death" and "immortality" and subsequently create lexical-semantic microfields of motives; 3) To study and analyze the biography of translators, to obtain the necessary information for this work about them. 4) Analyze translations of Hamlet by William Shakespeare into Russian using the materials of the semantic research. 5) To identify similarities and differences at the level of "motives" between the original text and translations;
