Impact of Diversification Effect on Company's Performance

Our paper is devoted to the corporate diversification as an effect and part of the growth strategy of the company. The main target of the study was to determine the main effects created by diversification and theirs variability depending on industry. The study was conducted basing on data of companies from Russian federation as it is considered by us that it is very important to determine main trends in strategic behavior on domestic market. Our results showed that for Russian companies diversification event shows positive tendencies in value creation and further investigations led to differences in time of reacting on event and industry differences.
