Estimation of the Cost of Securing the Release of Tokenized Assets

The paper considers the application of a new financial instrument based on the technology of blockchain- the tokenization. The relevance of the topic is due to the innovative nature of this tool. At the moment there are few works that explore with this process. The work carried out analyzes of tokenization as a financial instrument. It also considers innovations that can be implemented into the financial system and a comparison with traditional tools. In practical terms, the value of the work is that the author participated in the process of tokenization as an employee of the organization, which made it possible to analyze this process from within. The database used is accessible information about the tokenization process and practical participation in this process. The main conclusion of the work is that tokenization has prospects to become a full-fledged replacement for current financial instruments in the future. However, at the moment, the development and application of this technology is hampered by the narrow prevalence of blockchain technologies in the modern world.
