In this paper, I am conducting the empirical research of how cars are distributed by length in multiple tariff zones of Moscow Chargeable Parking Space. The length of the car is used as a proxy of owners’ income and some arguments in favor of this approach are justified. The aim of the research is to make some conclusions that could improve the efficiency of public parking space usage. The research is based on statistical analysis of three Data sets, which were collected by myself specially for this research. As a result, some conclusion about structural differences between distribution of car lengths in different areas and among different categories of drivers are made.
