The Relationship of Quality of the Police Work and Crime Rates in Russia

According to the statistics by Public Opinion Fund (2014) the level of trust to police increasing, and more then 60 percent of people are satisfied by the police work. However, Russia ranks fifth in the number of murders. And the level of corruption in the country is kept at a high level, and is carefully hidden in statistics. For example, in the article Shklyaruk M. (2014), it is said that the level of arrogance in the police grows every year, but they register about ten percent of these appeals in order not to spoil the statistics. So, the the relationship between the police work and the criminal rate exists. The quality that the police puts into the work has a very strong effect on the level of crime in the region, which in its denounces is reflected in their confidence in them. The actuality of this thesis related to rate of crime throughout the world, as well as in order to reduce crime and improve public safety. The data obtained in the results of the research can be used later in the study of the economic approach to the analysis of criminal activity, as well as in the activities of scientists.
