Quality of Additional Education of Children: the Main Approaches to the Definition and Analysis Features of Their Application in Organizations Additional Education of the Schelkovsky Municipal District of the Moscow Region

The paper observes the determining of phenomenon of quality in the additional education of children. The main approaches to the definition and assessment of quality, developed by Russian and foreign researchers, are presented, and their analysis is carried out. The main characteristics of the quality of additional education of children are identified and specified in the context of modern scientific-theoretical and regulatory approaches. Based on the methodology of an expert interview conducted with the leaders of educational organizations and using content analysis, to interpret their results, quality profiles were built, both for organizations and for the system of additional education of children of the Schelkovo municipal district in the Moscow region. The recommendations for improving the quality management systems in the studied organizations are well presented.
