Strategies of School Principals Operating in Adverse Social Conditions to Manage the Educational Environment (on the Example of Educational Institutions in Perm)

The paper presents a review of the literature on the problem of quality education and ensuring equal access to it for all children. The international and domestic experience of management and educational strategies of schools operating in adverse social conditions is summarized. A study was conducted to establish the relationship between the management strategies of directors of resilient schools and the educational results of the organization on the example of schools in the city of Perm. Schools studied implement similar strategies associated with resilience: priority of educational achievements and high expectations of teachers for students, creation of additional opportunities for specialized and additional education, a carefully constructed line of support for students, maintaining a positive learning climate in teacher and student communication, tracking progress in learning, interaction with parents, limited selection. The study revealed a link between the management strategies of the educational environment of directors of resilient schools in the city of Perm and the high educational achievements of students.
