Improving the selection of teaching staff is an important condition for strengthening the quality of modern Russian education, and the problem of forming a highly professional team of employees in any organization remains one of the most urgent tasks. The focus of the master's thesis is the problem of applying the process approach in the selection of teaching staff, for the solution of which a diagnostic study was conducted in 17 educational institutions of the Avtozavodsky district of Togliatti, in order to identify and systematize the procedures used for the selection of teachers, as well as to determine the readiness of the heads of these organizations to implement the process approach. As a result of the study, it was proved that the introduction of the process approach in the selection of teaching staff has good prospects in educational organizations, given the practice and its wide application in business organizations; and it was found that the heads of the studied educational organizations positively assess these prospects and would like to have a clear description of the selection process to improve the effectiveness and quality of reception of teaching staff. A concrete practical result of the study was the development of a model process (scheme and regulations) of the selection of teaching staff, which will competently and accurately recruit new employees, and can be useful not only for managers, Deputy Directors and specialists of school services involved in the selection of teachers in educational institutions participating in the study, but also in other schools in the city and region.
