The work consists of introduction, research methodology, literature review, three chapters, conclusion and bibliography. The introduction reveals the relevance of the chosen topic, formulates the goals and objectives of the study. The study is relevant due to deep transformations in German society as a result of the migration crisis, which require changes in the national migration policy. The example of Germany is unique and requires the development of an individual model of integration. The main goal of the study is to analyse the migration policy of Germany in the context of the migration crisis. The subject of the study is the social adaptation policy of immigrants from the Middle Eastern countries in Germany. The objects of the study are the features and mechanisms of the German social adaptation model, German society and transformation of migration policy. In the first chapter, we consider approaches to adaptation, analyze the transformation process of national identity and the mechanism of "European integration", make an attempt to distinguish between the concepts of "Arab" and "Islamic" identity. In the second chapter, we describe the EU migration policy, the mechanism of distribution and initial adaptation of migrants and refugees across Germany, and economic and social challenges. In the third chapter, we look at changes in the migration and adaptation policies of the Federal Republic of Germany after the federal elections of 2018 and make an attempt to assess its effectiveness, focusing on experts' forecasts and statistical data. The work contains 95 pages without attachments. 131 sources were used in the study.
