Continuing Education Strategy Development in Glazov State Pedagogical Institute Named V.G. Korolenko

The purpose of the project study is creation of continuing education strategy development in the market for Glazov state pedagogical institute named after V.G. Korolenko for the period from 2019 to 2023. Criteria for selection of strategy are formulated: strategy has to provide the required gain of income and number of listeners for programs of continuing education, strategy has to correspond to restrictions to result of design, strategy has to economically efficient until 2023. For achievement of the goal the analysis of external and internal environment of higher education institution is carried out. With use of Igor Ansoff’s matrix the strategic options of continuing education strategy development at Institute are worked out. Proceeding from compliance of the offered strategy to the stated criteria, the analysis of advantages and disadvantages of each strategy, risk analysis, the forecast of income and expenses, economic assessment of projects a strategic choice are made. One of the developed strategic options does not allow reaching target indicators of income and the number of listeners therefore this strategy is not recommended to realization. Other two strategic options allow reaching target indicators. And these strategies are not mutually exclusive and can be realized by Institute at the same time in the presence of necessary financial resources. It will allow exceeding planned to achievement of the goal by 2023, to considerably increase income and the number of listeners on additional education at Institute.
