The magister diploma thesis shows the influence of the socio-political context on the cinema, the reflection of the ancient Russian state image in historical perspective. Mass historical cinema allows to follow the changes in state and public priorities, in attitudes to historical figures, it shows what is emphasized in the formation of public opinion. The author of this thesis concludes that it is necessary to train a reflexive attitude to watching films, this is an important skill in the modern world and it is necessary to develop it. The work is equipped with a methodical constructor, with it teacher can build his/her own lessons that meets the federal state learning standards.
