Annotation to the final qualifying work on the topic: "Shadow" by E. Schwartz. Features of staging in the children's theatre " In the master's thesis we consider the theoretical issues related to children's theatre and the practical experience of the school play of Schwarz’s play “Shadow”. The theoretical part of the study contains two chapters. The first chapter is devoted to the study of the historical, cultural and biographical context of the play “Shadow” by E.L. Schwarz's, to the revealing the peculiarities of its poetics, to the examining its stage history, to the confirming that Schwarz’s play has not lost its relevance over the years and is staged in modern theatres with enviable consistency. The second chapter deals with issues related to the sociocultural phenomenon of children's theatre: its history, forms of existence, stepwise-differentiated approach to the development of theatrical art by children; the pedagogical conditions necessary for the formation of a children's theatre as a space for the development of a student’s creative powers are determined. Practical experience of the E.L. Schwarz’s play "Shadow" staged by children's school theatre private secondary school “Olymp” (the town of Orenburg) is reflected in the third chapter. The school theatre set the task - to awaken the children’s desire to play, to try other images, to evaluate and compare them without losing children's spontaneity and openness. The children’s theatre is considered as a means of personal development, its creative abilities, so the performance is not an end in itself, but it is an important part of the project, it is its actual (product) result. To show it to the viewer, we needed an overall work plan and a clear rehearsal scheme. The main stages of this work are devoted to the content of this part. Thus, the children's theatre as a form of synthetic art becomes the environment of the school space where personality development takes place.
