The main purpose of the research consists in building a long-term strategy of efficient investments for the security of the future after retirement. The goal is achieved by building an optimal investment portfolio based on real estate investment trusts (REITs). The long- term investment strategy is formed based on three scenarios. Summarizing the results of the study has been concluded that there are a wide variety of tools and methods of investment enable investors to form different types of strategy which can assure the future income.
