The final qualification paper (Master's Thesis) is devoted to the study of financial institutions of development. The purpose of the master's thesis was formulated as an analysis of the activities of financial institutions of development, as well as the development of recommendations for the further functioning of financial institutions of development. The paper examines the definition of a financial institutions of development in a broad and narrow sense, formulates a definition of a financial institutions of development. A classification of financial institutions of development according to various grounds, which will allow both to establish the time of creation and identify priority areas of the economy, and to predict possible prospects for the development of financial institutions of development. The author distinguished the fundamental principles on which the activities of financial institutions of development should be based. The highlighted principles will ensure the effective operation of financial institutions of development, despite the fact that financial institutions of development are created in various organizational and legal forms. In addition, the legal status of the Eurasian Development Bank and the State Development Corporation VEB.RF was analyzed. The methodological basis of the master's thesis is presented by the formal legal and comparative legal method, as well as by the method of deduction, induction, systematization and classification.
