The purpose of the study is to identify typical problems of localization of video games and develop a methodology of universal solutions. It is advisable to highlight the following tasks: Development of a typical game localization script Highlight key development points Identify success criteria for localization Creating a process diagram, to clarity the methodology Theoretical application of the methodology on known cases The object of my research is the process of localization of computer games I consider the problems themselves and the peculiarities of this process as the subject of research, by systematizing which it is possible to develop a methodology. The study is divided into three chapters In the first chapter, I will review the literature describing the localization of video games from different angles, clarify the subtleties of the definitions needed for research, and provide a brief historical background on the problem. The second chapter will be a description of the process of developing a universal methodology for the localization of practical games of any kind. In the third chapter of my work I will consider some cases, both the successful localization of various games, and failure examples. Each case will be reviewed in the AS-IS and TO-BE format, the methodology that I developed will be the optimizing factor for it. As a result, I carried out a system-analytical study within the framework of game localization, the resulting methodology was derived and graphically presented The result of the research work was the universal methodology of localization of computer games developed by me.
