Diagnostics and Diagnosticians in the Process of Marketization of Healthcare System in Russia

This research aims at studying perception and attitude to the role of diagnostics among medical professional society as well as motivation and reason for prescription of the diagnostic procedures to the patients in the conditions of expert monopoly on doctors – clinicians part and commercialization of diagnostic procedures. Attention is paid to the tasks to reveal the doctors’ perception of technocracy worship in medicine, what is considered to be positive or negative phenomenon, what influences the quality of medical treatment, especially as for commercial medicine and what place does real welfare for people’s health have. The results will be given according to interviews given in the expert doctors society of various specialties and medicine branches. The work is made up of history explanation and research problems topicality as well as scientific and applied importance of the results. Then, it is given a literature review concerning research problems; methodology description, tasks and supposed research results. At the end, an empirical analysis of the results is presented and a brief conclusion is given.
