Educational Programme: Management (Bachelor)

Year of Graduation: 2019

The objective of this study is to systematize data on the theoretical and practical aspects of franchising, as well as to develop a franchising project for the retail stores “Lumma Store”. Both theoretical and empirical research methods are used in the work. Theoretical methods are used in the study of scientific and methodological literature to collect information on approaches to franchising in Russia and abroad. As for empirical methods, we note that continuous interaction with the company made it possible to use corporate resources (statistics, access to business processes), to test individual elements of the system in practice, and also to interview contractors working with the company. The study first determines franchising, its types and components, drawbacks and advantages, then analyzes the regulatory framework of franchising in the Russian Federation, and eventually determines the key stages of the development and implementation of franchising. Then, on the basis of the obtained data, within the framework of the research a set of necessary documentation is formed and a franchising system is being developed that is ready to be implemented in the company.
