The Readiness of Teachers to Use Digital Technologies as a Problem of Modernization of Education in Contemporary Schools

The research aims to identify factors at micro-level of educational system which are determining the level of digital technology integration into learning processes at secondary schools in Russia. The quantitative research strategy was applied, 141 respondents (20-69 aged teachers of Russian schools) filled the online-questionnaire. The study examines the connection between teachers’ use of digital technology in their practices and their individual characteristics: technology readiness and age.
