Rest Time as an Institution of Labor Law

The right to rest is an inalienable right of every person, citizen. The guarantor of these rights is the Constitution of the Russian Federation, the Labor Code of the Russian Federation International conventions (for example, Convention No. 132 “on paid vacations”) and other normative acts. Rest time is a basic need and an integral part of the employment relationship. The main objective of this final qualifying work is the systematic presentation of the theoretical and practical problems faced by the employee in the exercise of his right to rest. The study will consider the following points: - the development of rest time in a historical context, starting from the pre-revolutionary period, ending with the present time, including the analysis of legal acts that have lost their force. - The ratio of Russian labor legislation on issues of rest time with international standards. - debatable aspects about the definition of "rest time" among various lawyers and the classification of the types of this time. - Consideration in a separate paragraph of a special type of rest time - leave and features of its provision
