Political discourse is a phenomenon of political communication that uses a certain system of professionally oriented characters and has its own sublanguage (vocabulary, phraseology and paremiology). In the present study, terms such as political discourse, political interview, news article and public speaking will be defined and applied in the practical part of the work. The main purpose of the study is to compare the genre features of media texts and analyze the lexical features in translation.
