Electoral Support of Donald Trump As a Reflection of a Demand for Isolationism in the USA

This paper examines how D. Trump’s electoral support on the eve of the 2016 presidential election in the United States reflects Americans’ demand for isolationism and whether it reflects. Based on linear regression analysis, it was proved that the features of presence of Americans’ demand for isolationism is negatively correlated with planning to vote for Donald Trump. However, the study also revealed the need to analyze the impact of features of imperialism. As a result, it was confirmed thar positive correlation between them and planning to vote for Donald Trump in the presidential elections exists.
