In this study, we try to explore the internal migration of youth in Russia with the help of "digital footprints" from Social Media. Particulary we study the case of educational migration. A high degree of reliability of the collected internet data is shown at the level of comparison of the ranks of indicators (rho = 0.92) based on the comparison with governmental statistics. A gravitational model of internal educational migration in Russia (R2 = 0.79) was build. It reflects the general structure of migration flows under the influence of multiple centers of "gravitational attraction" of various nature. In addition, we analysed the directions of educational mobility and used Conditional Inference tree, showing the main direction of migration at the city level (Accuracy = 83%).
