The Motivation of Parents When Choosing Sport Activities for Children: Using the Example of Dance Sport

This work is devoted to the study of the motivation of parents. The main questions that are covered in this study are: why parents decide to give their children to ballroom dancing and what they think about this sport at the moment. This paper tests hypotheses that were obtained earlier at the stage of a qualitative study, which includes in-depth interviews with the dancers' parents.
